Job's Corner

The name of the road junction on Job's Lane with what was Stairbridge lane to the left and Pookbourne Lane to the right. The lane itself was an old rat run for traffic seeking to join the A23 from Burgess Hill until the 1997 construction of the A2300 returning the road to the quiet country lane it once was.
