This former water tower (130ft high and once capable of holding 20,000 gallons of water) was part of the former Brook Hospital site, Shooters Hill. It now hosts a five bedroom apartment "for rent" spread over eight floors. In particular, it boasts a stunning top floor reception room "with superb views". The Brook Hospital was closed in 1995 when the Queen Elizabeth (District General) Hospital was opened and most of the site was redeveloped into a housing complex that is now known as Brook Village. The only remaining former hospital buildings are the water tower, the main gate entrance lodge, the administration block and the steward's house.
