A Brighton to Bedford service approaches Kentish Town running through the intermittent light and deep shadow of the Midland mainline in the cutting between Carlton Road and Camden Road. The train, formed of Class 377 electric units, is caught in the light between the bridges carrying Islip Street (nearest) and Caversham Road.
