The picture is taken - as can be seen - from Westland Gardens which is very close to Stourbridge's War Memorial Athletic Ground where Stourbridge's Football and Cricket Club's are based. The Holloway is named after Ian Holloway … former Footballer and Football Manager in recognition of the number of Football Clubs he has played for and managed. He has played for … Bristol Rovers (Three times) … Wimbledon … Brentford … Torquay … and Queens Park Rangers He has managed … Bristol Rovers … Queens Park Rangers … Plymouth Argyle … Leicester City … Blackpool … Crystal Palace* … and Millwall Maybe one day he will manage The Glassboys! *Given Stourbridge's link to the production of Crystal Glassware perhaps his tenure and success at Crystal Palace is most noteworthy.
