The cessation of the early morning rain has evidently encouraged this restaurant manager to prepare for an influx of brunch customers. This is a southerly view along the middle section of Camden Passage, looking towards the Charlton Place intersection. Islington High Street lies in the distance and the main A1 - in and out of London - is situated immediately behind these buildings on the right. Alexander Cruden (1699-1770), the author of several early bible concordances, a proof-reader and publisher died in a house on the right-hand side of where the photographer was standing to take this photograph.
