This striking 'H' plan farmhouse dates from the 17th C. but was restored in the 20th C. Nevertheless it is Grade II listed with English Heritage Building ID: 149419. See: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-149419-lye-court-farmhouse-aymestrey- Next door the black structure is a contemporary Tallet (an attic or loft) which is also Grade II listed with English Heritage Building ID: 149421.
