A Southern Class 455, 455815, arrives with a service for Victoria. Originally delivered to British Railways between 1982 and 1984, these units have been modified over the years. Most obviously, the gangway door on the end of these units was plated over by Southern and an air-conditioning unit fitted in its place. Other work included the installation of digital displays and more comfortable seating.
