This parade of shops is situated at the junction of Collingwood Drive and Hillingford Avenue. Just behind the photographer is a former school which is now the Community Centre and Library. During World War 2, the building was used as a base first by the RAF (Royal Air Force) and later by the US (United States) Forces. Time photo taken 6.54 am BST (British Summer Time). Image
