Originally built for The Holiness Church Society in 1916, No.83 Coltman Street was taken over by the Church of the Nazerene in 1959. It was closed for religious purposes in the 1990s. The foundation stone reads: 'This stone was laid by Councillor W.C. Dawson (Sheriff of Hull) Feb. 21st 1916'
