This unassuming early 19th century brick wall on the south side of Myddelton Passage is listed grade 2 (list entry number 1298024) for the graffiti comprising initials, dates and other symbols scratched in the brick by the French prisoners (presumably from the Napoleonic wars) employed to build the wall.
