On the east side of the street, left to right: No.38, a warehouse converted for student accommodation; No.39, refurbished following a fire in 1989, no.40, headquarters of the Humberside Police Authority, originally built in 1899 for 'The Pacific Ltd'. Image Bishop Lane Staith is accessed via the archway at No.40; it is opposite Bishop Lane on the other side of High Street.
