Once part of the old sheep down of Piddinghoe this area became part of Peacehaven in 1929 and so far has remained undeveloped. It is bounded by Downs Walk to the left which also marks the parish boundary with Telscombe, The Lookout to the north, Valley Road to the south and the houses and their plots to the east.
