The Dell Bridge was built in 1894. It spans the only remaining tidal channel preserved as a landscape feature. The spire, behind the bridge, belongs to The Lyceum. This was built between 1894-96 and originally was the village school and church. When the new school and Christ Church (Image]) were built in 1903 and 1904 respectively, it was renamed The Lyceum and in 1917, it became a staff training college. It now houses the village social club.
