Located on the corner of Mumbles Road and Dunns Lane. There has been a place of worship here since 1814 when a Methodist Preaching House was built in the garden of a house. It soon became inadequate and a second building was opened on July 7th 1861. Within 3 years the congregation rapidly increased and a larger building was again being considered. However it was not until 1877 that the foundation stone of the present building was laid, on July 12th. The church opened on May 23rd 1878.
