Despite the For Sale sign, this pub unfortunately is shortly to be demolished, as a notice from Shropshire Council, attached to the front door, confirms. It will be replaced by housing, which is already being advertised on the hoarding to the right of the pub. There used to be two pictures of a fox plus the pub's name, on boards, attached to the front of the building at first floor level. These had already been removed, when this photograph was taken in February 2012. Image
