This picture of Watersfield rather sums up villages today the only institution that seems to survive is residential property sales. This is “The Old Crown” Pub “The Old Post Office” and just out of shot down the lane on the right is “The Old Chapel” If God the State and Booze can’t compete with estate agents what hope is there for village life??!!
