Shown here in its construction phase and now officially known as The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre. It provides sports and fitness facilities for De Monfort University collegiate and for members of the local community, boasting a swimming pool, climbing wall, fitness gym and multi-sports hall. The centre was built as a replacement for the nearby ageing John Sandford Sports Centre.
