Cosy village pub opposite the parish church, on Church Street. Internally, restaurant to right; open-plan bar to left, Brewer's Tudor style, with beams, open fireplaces, displays of jugs, bottles & plates, festooned with hops. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Hall & Woodhouse Badger, Pickled Partridge.
