View NW, towards Victoria: ex-SE&CR Victoria - Chatham - Kent Coast main line; ex-LB&SC Victoria - Denmark Hill - London Bridge (South London Line); Clapham station had platforms only on the latter. The locomotive is Maunsell V class 'Schools' 4-4-0 No. 30922 'Marlborough' (built 11/33, withdrawn 11/61). (The chimneys of Battersea Powe Station can be seen in the background).
