Though much widened, this historic bridge is one of the world's first flyovers. It was built (1801-05) to carry Union Street across the Denburn Valley (containing the railway line to Inverness and the culverted Den Burn) and is the world's longest single span granite bridge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Bridge,_Aberdeen
