Formerly known as the Balmwell Country Carvery, but acquired by the Toby Carvery chain in 2011. The carvery is in a large house originally built in 1806 for a Mr John Simpson. Since being a private home it has been used as a children’s home, a care home and a hotel. The eponymous Balmwell is in the grounds.
