Canvey Island: Leigh Beck Pumping Station

Leigh Beck Pumping Station is one of several around the island used to pump excess water out through the sea wall and into the Thames estuary, in this case via Image Comparing this image with Glyn's Image from 2006 it is evident that the electric sub-station installation has been substantially improved.
