Four churches, one situated next to the other, provide services for a number of denominations. The four churches are St Margaret's church (Church of England), St George's (Roman Catholic), St Andrew's (Church of Scotland and Free Churches) and a Baptist church (Baptist churches do not have a designation). Update Dec 2017 - The building currently houses the station's museum; it has ceased to be a church.
