Gates, Peplow

The handsome gates and gate piers to Peplow Hall (Image]). Contemporary with the house, c1725, by a Mr Jones of Wrexham. The piers are of sandstone with brick panels and topped by urns. The wrought-iron gates consist of a pair of central carriage gates and flanking pedestrian gates, all of which are topped by scrolled crestings, and four standards with scrolled panels and crestings. Grade II listed.
