This huge complex formerly housed the Royal Naval Armaments Depot and has extensive underground storage bunkers. It played a key part in the Second World War, and, it is said, was never found by the Luftwaffe. It closed in the 1990s and has now been taken over by a company who hope to attract new businesses to the site.
