The flower display on the 'village green' looks superb ... but is joined by some 'not so good looking' safety fences. These fences are in place to keep people out of the mystery hole which was discovered by accident when a horses leg started to sink into the grass. The hole turned out to be a cellar from one of small terrace of cottages which were demolished in the early 1970s. See also Image
