The A605 Oundle bypass follows the former alignment of the Peterborough Northampton railway from this point north until the river crossing just before the site of the old station yard at Oundle. An excellent comparison with a 1961 photograph by Ben Brooksbank Image can be made. The station house and some of the platform structure can still be seen.
