It is situated beside The Street. Bridgham is a linear village situated along the river Thet which is the southern boundary to the parish. The settlement grew when it became a bridging point across the Thet. During the last forty-five years the Post Office, pub, school and shops have all closed and East harling, two miles to the east, now provides many of the services for the small community.
