The point where Kingston Road enters the built-up suburbs of Taunton. Hope Corner House (now apparently renamed Bishop's Mead), with its Venetian window, is "probably C18 or earlier" http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=269779&mode=adv . On this side of it is a little triangular green.
