Housing estate, near Scarinish. Although the style of housing is sympathetic, the concentration of houses is sadly out of keeping with the scattered nature of housing which is characteristic of the Isle of Tiree. Nor is this estate conveniently situated. There was a constant stream of inhabitants carrying their shopping bags from the village shop nearly a kilometre away.
