This large triangular green on the right is beside the A252 Canterbury Road. The green is used a lot for community events; boot fairs on Sundays and a Goose Fair. The Goose Fair dates back to the 13th Century. Geese were walked to market. These days the fair is more a country fair, with crafts, stalls, dancing, companion dogs shows, charity stalls etc.
