Some Former Tenants: In 1726 William Weatherhead was the farmer at Nashes Farm http://www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk/data/topics/t064-sandridge-1726.htm In around 1820 Thomas Taylor was a farmer living at Nashes. He was succeeded by William Cox, who was there between about 1823 and 1834 when he was succeeded by George Young who lived there until he died in 1888. For at least part of the time he also farmed Copses, Hooks, Fairfolds and Tower Hill Farms. Following George Young's death George Byles (who had been farming Fairfolds) also farmed Nashes.
