The railway at Firsby once had a junction to the north for Grimsby and Cleethorpes, to the west for Spilsby, to the east for Skegness and to the south for Boston. Only the line from Boston to Skegness remains. The former junction (seen here) has a famous curve (known to railway buffs) that almost turns back on itself.
