Priorities

16 Apr 2023

Non-dwelling burglaries

Response (16 Apr 2023)

Whilst we have seen a significant reduction in reported non-dwelling burglaries across the area, we continued to carry out a number of proactive operations throughout the 2022, with our colleagues from Dorset, Hampshire and BPT Police.

These proactive operations will continue going further into 2024, to disrupt possible offending and gathering intelligence where possible.

18 Apr 2024

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

Response (18 Apr 2024)

ASB continues to be a priority in the Alderbury and
Longhedge area. High Visibility patrols are being conducted at certain times to deal with any incidents and provide reassurance to the community.

The police are working very closely with partner agencies including the Parish Councils, and local community groups to address some of the issues and concerns raised.

18 Apr 2024

Rural Crime

Response (18 Apr 2024)

Rural crime continues to be a focus for the team especially now we are in the poaching / hare coursing season.

We are continuing to conduct proactive operations with our neighbouring forces and our Rural Crime Team in tackling rural crime.

14 Apr 2024

Vulnerable Checks

Response (14 Apr 2024)

Officers conduct regular visits to our identified vulnerable people to both reassure them following reported concerns and to deter visits by criminals who wish to exploit them. We have been working closely with Wiltshire Council Housing on evidence to support several injunctions which we have now got in place. These premises are visited regularly by the teams to provide support to those who are most vulnerable.
