Speeding has been identified as a priority for residents according to our recent neighbourhood priorities survey, they have reported that high speeds across the area represent a risk to community safety. Speed checks have recently taken place in Iver.

Following speed checks in Iver, this resulted in 2 drivers reported and 3 others receiving warnings. Another car stopped for speeding resulted in the driver being reported and the Vehicle seized after they were found to have false plates, a disqualified license, no insurance or MOT. The neighbourhood team will continue to plan these days of action where needed.

According to our recent neighbourhood priorities survey, anti-social behaviour was voted as the highest concern by residents. In the Iver and Stoke Poges area, the neighbourhood team have been responding to reports of youth anti-social behaviour around the recreational ground and local shops.

The team will carry out high visibility patrols in areas where they have received increased and/or persistent reports of anti-social behaviour, this will assist in disrupting the behaviour and identifying those responsible. The team seek to engage areas in via both foot and car.
The team will stop and engage with those suspected to be impacting the community negatively though their behaviours, when having the grounds to do so they will also seek to carry out stop searches.

In our neighbourhood policing priorities survey, burglary was voted as a concern by residents of the area, TVP Bucks will be working to tackle the expected seasonal rise in burglary.

Bucks TVP have started their winter burglary operation, the campaign to intensively reduce and prevent winter time burglary across Buckinghamshire. Officers will be by carrying out increased proactive patrols in hours of darkness around the most impacted areas, including the areas of Iver, Stoke Poges and Wexham. The aim of these patrols are to both detect and deter burglary offenders.

The local neighbourhood team will also be working with residents around home security advice, educating everyone around keeping their homes as secure and unattractive to burglars as possible. Residents playing their part to keep their homes safe as well as looking out for their neighbours plays a significant part in reducing the amount of burglaries in the area.

Unfortunately the speed enforcement operation planned for December had to be postponed as our staff were required elsewhere. In the last week we carried out a speed check on Church Road, Iver Heath. We are pleased to report that the majority of drivers were travelling within the speed limit. Only one driver was found to be exceeding the limit, they were stopped and have been reported.

Our most recent neighbourhood priorities survey has identified anti-social behaviour to be one of the top concerns of the local residents, the team will continue to take steps to deal prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour. Currently the team are dealing with instances of youth Anti-social behaviour.

The team will routinely carry out high visibility patrols in areas identified to have the most issues of Anti-social behaviour, the team are currently seeing issues in places such as the recreation ground in Stoke Poges and local shops in Iver due to youths entering and gathering near them. Those identified to be causing issues will be stopped and engaged with. The team also continue to speak with local residents at their crime prevention events and out on patrols to identify what manner of anti-social behaviour is of most concern.

The neighbourhood policing team have been working hard over the last three months to combat burglary. We have supported wider operations such as Operation Grotto and Operation Pandilla, both of which saw intense proactivity across the Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Iver. These operations resulted in multiple arrests, stop searches, vehicle searches and some excellent disruption. In January we carried out a speed check on Church Road, Iver Heath. We are pleased to report that the majority of drivers were travelling within the speed limit. Only one driver was found to be exceeding the limit, they were stopped and have been reported.

On 31/03/2026 the team completed further enforcement activity on Church Road, Iver Heath. One driver was warned and another was reported having been recorded travelling at 37mph.

Unfortunately due to resourcing issues on the team, we were unable to complete any speed enforcement activity in the month of February and most of March. Once we are back up to strength, further operations will be scheduled.

Acting on concerns raised by local councillors we participated in a bespoke crime prevention event in Richings Park Sports Club, Iver on 02/03/2026. We delivered a presentation to a large group of residents, offered an insight into local burglary offences and gave tailored and practical tips on crime prevention.

On 13/04/2026 the team completed further enforcement activity on Church Road, Iver Heath. Three drivers were warned and two were stopped, reported and now face speed awareness courses or penalty points and fines. The highest speed recorded was 38mph.

On 26/05/2026 the team completed enforcement activity on Church Road, Iver Heath. All drivers checked were found to be within the 30mph limit. We also checked Bangors Road North, Iver Heath. The overwhelming majority of drivers were also within the 30mph limit and only one was stopped and reported, having been observed travelling at 41mph.

In April we have seized an e-scooter which was being used anti-socially in Iver village centre.

We have also been working with local farmers, specialist Roads Policing motorcyclists and colleagues at Hertfordshire Police to address the anti-social use of vehicles on open spaces and farm land around the Chalfonts, Denham and Iver. An operation utilising our off-road police motorcycles was held in recent weeks, was very well received locally and will likely be run again in the near future.

Last month we participated in a multi-force operation targeting criminal use of the road network. This operation saw intense proactive policing with partners across the Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Iver. This operation resulted in multiple arrests, stop searches, vehicle seizures and some excellent disruption. Outside of this operation the team continue to patrol the most affected areas together with our borders with neighbouring areas and forces.

Due to competing demands on the neighbourhood policing team we have been unable to complete as much speed enforcement work as we would have liked.
Speed checks were completed in Iver Heath during the course of which 3 drivers were stopped and reported for exceeding 30mph limits.
During this period our officers also joined roads policing officers and partners for a road safety operation in and around Iver. The operation was a huge success with numerous drivers stopped for offences related to road safety.

The team continue to patrol the areas identified to have the most issues of anti-social behaviour.
The anti-social use of motorcycles, e-bikes and e-scooters remains an issue locally and we are working hard to tackle it. During this period we issued a S59 warning to the rider of an off-road motorcycle in Iver. We also continue to work with specialist colleagues and farmers to combat issues of e-bikes being ridden across farmland.
We have also carried out a number of joint patrols with the Buckinghamshire Council Waste Enforcement Team to combat fly-tipping. Several load related / waste carrying offences were identified and drivers reported accordingly.
We also responded to reports of cannabis being grown in residential gardens in Iver. As a result, two persons were arrested and over 250 cannabis plants were seized. The investigations are ongoing and outcomes will be shared once they conclude.

We continue to work hard to combat burglary through targeted patrols of the most affected areas and of the borders with neighbouring areas and forces.
In July we participated in a multi-force operation targeting criminal use of the road network. This operation saw intensive proactive policing with partners across the Chalfonts, Gerrards Cross, Denham and Iver. Across all of the forces involved over 60 people were arrested and over 40 vehicles were seized. For full results please see our social media channels.
We also participated in a local rural crime initiative alongside the Metropolitan Police Service. This operation also saw intensive activity in the same area and resulted in an arrest, multiple vehicle seizures, multiple drivers being reported for traffic offences and some really positive engagement with our rural community. Investigations were also launched into two drivers who failed to stop for officers.
