You told us that you were concerned about vehicle crime. This can be theft of motor vehicles or theft from motor vehicles, this also includes theft of tools from vans and theft of catalytic convertors.

Response (1 Feb 2024)

Officers have conducted regular patrols of the areas where offences have occurred, we also use covert and overt tactics to target offences. We will continue to do this going forward.
In the last few months, catalytic convertors and number plates were the main theft from vehicles offences reported. CCTV provided valuable intelligence on the times the offences were happening and possible vehicles involved, to assist in our patrol strategy. There has been a significant reduction in these reports.
