Anti-Social Behaviour at Grampian Shops

Your local community policing team are aware of an increase of reports of anti-social behaviour and the surrounding streets back in May 2023.

Response (3 Jul 2023)

Your local team have created a problem oriented plan and working with our partner agencies we have visited numerous properties and parents have been made aware about the behaviours of their children. We are trying to put in engagement with other activities to prevent this behaviour and continue to pay a hi visible deterrent.

Update - 14/08/2023
We have -
• Identified and dealt with multiple youths for offences committed in the area
• Conducted a cycle marking event in July to engage with community
• Meeting held in July with key community partners to discuss partnership working around the issue
• Regular patrols by local NPT

Update 21/10/2023 - We have been monitoring the area and have been made aware of several incidents of fireworks being set off. Please be reassured that during the period of Halloween and bonfire night you local community teams are out patrolling the area.

3 Jul 2023

Biggin Avenue - Anti Social Behaviour

We are aware that Biggin Avenue is historically a hotspot for spikes in ASB, So far in 2023 we have not seen any issues like we had last year.

To look and develop intelligence in relation to drug dealing in and around the Garths

Response (22 Oct 2024)

22/10/2024 - This priority is currently in the development stage

22 Oct 2024

There has been a steady increase in reporting of offroad bikes and quads on the ward. From a patch walk today, this is particularly acute around the Grampian Way skatepark but it is also being reported around Noddle Hill Way and the grassed areas around Gatwick House and the spinal path.

Response (22 Oct 2024)

06/03 update – Marc DIAS has kindly produced a DOCO report covering the skate park area and has recommended particular fencing to the council area coordinator, Jo NEILSEN. Jo is in the process of securing funding for this project currently after which time the building will start October 24 – There has been a significant reduction in reports from the area. Funding applications will have to be done in the next financial year.
