Answer
The National Health Service Cervical Screening Programme measures coverage rather than uptake rate. NHS England is responsible for monitoring the coverage rates for cervical screening in all age groups and is committed to improving coverage and reducing variation between all age groups.

The percentage of coverage for each area requested as at the end of 2016-17 is: England 72.0%; North Yorkshire 78.1%; York 73.0%.
