Jobseeker's Allowance (7 July 2014)

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many claims for jobseeker's allowance made by (a) men and (b) women in the first quarter of 2014 were made within six months of a previous claim ending.

451,207 men and 174,733 women have claimed jobseekers allowance between 01 January and 31 March 2014 where they had ended a jobseekers claim in the previous 6 months.
