To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what change there is in the daily number of passenger seats in standard class on West Coast Main Line passenger services during the term of the franchise directly awarded to West Coast Trains Ltd.

The Direct Award to West Coast Trains Limited will see an increase of 5500 standard class seats per day during the term of the franchise.
