PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
STUDENT HARDSHIP (8 June 1992)
Motion Details
That this House, conscious of the difficulties already being experienced by students as a result of changes in the system for their financial support, urges Her Majesty's Government in the short term to take urgent measures to alleviate student hardship during the summer of 1992, whether by the re-introduction of benefits for all students or through an emergency fund for those in greatest need, and for the longer term to initiate a full review of the system for the financial support of students.
