PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
DEATH OF JOHN HALL (2 June 1992)
Motion Details
That this House deeply regrets the news of the death of Mr John Hall of Belgrave, Leicester, a leading member of the campaign for justice for nuclear test veterans who contracted leukaemia while serving on Christmas Island; notes that his plight and those of other nuclear test veterans has been raised on numerous occasions in this House most recently in an Adjournment Debate on 25th February which bore John Hall's name; considers that the Prime Minister should now publish the latest National Radiological Protection Board report which this House understands he has now received; believes that justice must now be done for the diminishing number of nuclear test veterans and their families; and therefore hopes that John Hall's outstanding work for the veterans will not have been in vain.
