That this House notes that 1992 has been denoted International Space Year; congratulates Arthur C. Clarke on his 75th birthday in recognition of his outstanding contribution as a space pioneer in the invention of satellite communications; and welcomes the hosting of a reception on 15 July by the Parliamentary Space Committee to mark the occasion.
