PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
LONDON BLACK CABS (3 November 1992)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes the major contribution made by London's licensed black cabs to the Capital's transport network and tourism industry; recognises the key role they play as the safest form of transport available for private hire given the specialised nature of the vehicle and training of the driver; and urges the Government to ensure that no measures are adopted that would jeopardise the future of this, the world's finest licensed taxi service.
