PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
WALSALL FOOTBALL CLUB AND SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF THE TERRORIST ATTACK IN SOUSSE, TUNISIA (12 July 2015)

Motion Details

That this House commends Walsall Football Club for organising and holding the national one minute's silence at Bescot Stadium on 3 July 2015; recognises that the people of Walsall, and Saddlers fans, were able to remember the three generations of Saddlers fans, Joel Richards, Adrian Evans and Patrick Evans, who were killed in the terrorist attack in Sousse, Tunisia on 26 June 2015, and whose families were present at Bescot Stadium; notes that Joel Richards, Adrian Evans and Patrick Evans were constituents of the hon. Member for West Bromwich West; congratulates Walsall Football Club on its plans to place memorial bricks dedicated to Joel Richards, Adrian Evans and Patrick Evans on the 125 sign which commemorates the club's 125th anniversary; calls on the Government to ensure that support is made available for bereaved families and survivors of atrocities immediately and for the future; and welcomes the response by the Prime Minister that a ministerial committee will be set up to co-ordinate support.
