THE MUNICIPALITY AND FIRE SERVICE OF YPRES (12 July 2015)
Motion Details
That this House pays tribute to, thanks and congratulates the fire service personnel in Ypres, Belgium, who on the evening of Thursday 9 July 2015 played the Last Post at the Menin Gate for the 30,000th time; and notes that this act of remembrance and dedication by the fire brigade in Ypres has occurred almost continuously since 1928 and is a great tribute to the fallen servicemen who died in the First World War and whose names are commemorated on the Menin Gate.
