PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
MADE BY BRITAIN INITIATIVE (11 July 2011)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes the Made By Britain initiative, which challenges every hon. Member to identify an example of manufacturing and design excellence in their constituency; further recognises that in 2011 the 160th anniversary of the Great Exhibition of 1851, it is a unique opportunity to create a virtual Crystal Palace in which the 650 objects will be exhibited; and considers this a reminder that Britain remains a leading manufacturing nation where design and innovation flourish.
