CHILD SUPPORT AGENCY (21 January 2011)
Motion Details
That this House recognises the good efforts of the Child Support Agency (CSA) to ensure parents receive the money to which they are entitled; further recognises that child maintenance is vital in helping to keep many families out of poverty; is concerned at proposals to cut the CSA in its current form and to charge parents upfront for use of their services; and calls on the Government to consult with anti-poverty groups, unions and other stakeholder groups and to reconsider these proposals.
