PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
MINICOM TELEPHONES (15 October 2001)

Motion Details

That this House notes with concern the lack of suitable telephones for those who are hard of hearing or deaf at rail and bus stations throughout the country; believes that people with hearing disabilities should not be excluded from an everyday service at rail and bus stations where the use of a public telephone is often essential; and calls on the telephone companies along with bus and rail companies to ensure that mincom telephones are installed at rail and bus stations throughout the country.
