Motion Details
That this House welcomes pioneering research at Hammersmith Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, London, into diagnosis and prevention of cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, brittle bone disease, Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome and other severe congenital disorders; notes that there are over 5000 children in institutions too severely handicapped with these and other disorders for their families to care for them; and abhors the possibility of legislation to ban this research.
